Batty in the park

-
Tuesday Kath and I took Cerys to the main park in Paramatta and on entering the park by the river are loads of fruit bats(or flying foxes)as they are known out here! There were loads of them and the noise was horrendous, brown and furry...I couldn't wait to move on!
We did two laps round the park which mounted to 6.4k by night we were both worn out, unfortunately Cerys wasn't!

The do look really spooky. They remind me of one of those dracula films.

They look rather big to me, or have you taken the photo on zoom? Wouldn't like to get too near to them in case they get in your hair! Just make sure you don't go running in the dark!! xxx
