The main ones are:- Temple of Hera Temple of Concord Temple of Hercules Temple of Zeus Temple of Castor & Pollux All build tin the 5th Century BC This temple was built out of sandstone, other mainly limestone. Sandstone is so soft the Greek painted the stone with a limstone wash to create a lay of harder material to protect the building. However there are problems with part of the pool side begining to separate from the supports. Not really all that encoraging... Thankfully out most of the day so not really a problem. Apart from the indifferent food. The journey took five hours longer than we anticiated due to problems with the plane not being in the right place at the right time. We were never able to get to the bottom of this...
